Please review the following job description:

Responsibility for leading the enterprise-wide sales practices risk management program, including development, implementation, and execution activities. The sales practices risk management program is designed to broadly ensure sales practices resulting in consumer harm are prevented and detected through a sound control environment.

Enterprise-wide coverage includes the ongoing active engagement with stakeholders across the enterprise, including ongoing individual LOB (lines of business) consulting, and providing effective challenge. Responsible to perform all governance oversight activities to ensure adequate and appropriate LOB and Corporate Functions (CF) frameworks for the effective identification and risk mitigation of improper activities, including those performed by Truist teammates as well as those performed by employees of third party with established relationships with Truist.

1. Responsible for sales practices risk management program perspective and partnered thought leadership coordination and solution delivery across risk programs with established interdependencies and linkages.

2. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and producing sales practices reporting, establishing trends, risk identification and risk posture determinations, as well as 2nd LOD oversight to ensure appropriate analysis is conducted within each 1st LOD LOB with BSPR exposure.

3. Responsible for the day-to-day management, coaching, and prioritization of program activities to sales practices risk management teammates. Also responsible for effective execution of all required program deliverables, maintaining accurate and complete documentation/records, and identification of gaps/execution of remediation plans, as necessary.

4. Responsible for issues and findings identification, establishing remediation plans and ensuring timely and complete delivery within established timeframes.

5. Responsible for the development and maintenance of all policies, procedures to support the sales practices risk management program, program-related process maps, and internal monitoring processes to evidence adequate and appropriate LOB execution. Also responsible to identify and implement process improvement enhancement opportunities and to establish closed loop processes.

6. Ongoing leverage for efficiency opportunities through systems enhancements and automated efficiencies, including GRC integration.

7. Manage the development, implementation, and administration of executive and Board-level reporting.

8. Responsible for regulatory and audit coordination, including examinations, providing updates and regular communication.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Ten years of banking, regulatory oversight, consulting, or risk management experience with Five+ years of experience in a large, complex banking organization, or providing consulting services or regulatory oversight of a large, complex banking organization

3. Ability to autonomously manage complex projects and programs involving multiple stakeholder groups

4. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and consult strategically across a large institution with various levels of leadership/stakeholders

6. Demonstrated success in fast-paced, matrixed, team environments

7. Adept with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Requirements:

1. Twelve+ years of banking, regulatory oversight, consulting, or risk management experience

2.Advanced Degree or Risk certification program
